36 weeks

I had my 36 week doctors appointment. No changes yet but still having contractions which might be due to dehydration I was told. I was measuring at 37 1/2 weeks so we did an ultrasound. The baby looks great. He is head down but face up. And yes he is still a HE. We double checked. The ultrasound said that he is about 7 pounds 9 ounces right now give or take 15 ounces (I think that the baby is taking in all of everything that I eat!). And they calculated that he is measuring at 38 weeks and 1 day but we are to still go by the origional due date for lung maturity. I will find out next week what the plan is, if we will be inducing or not and when. I do have to say that I think this baby looks like Collin. :) We can't wait to meet this little one. I have been busy "nesting" around here. Cleaning like crazy, washing baby clothes, setting up the infant car seat, and packing my bag for the hospital. I have had a lot more energy lately. We are still planning on naming him Ryan, although Nathan is still the back up name just in case.

35 week check up

The doctor said that the baby is head down. YAY! And I have dropped. Also I am measuring at 36 weeks instead of 35 weeks. They are going to order an ultrasound for next week to see how big the baby is at this point. That was my request. I am getting nervous since Collin was 9 pounds 2 ounces. My contractions have picked up but from what the doctor said it is not doing anything to my cervix just yet. I can't wait to get this over with!!! I am miserable now this little man is always getting his toesies stuck in my ribs :(

First day of school!

The girls went off to school yesterday. Nadalie is in the fourth grade this year. She has a man teacher, and she was not too sure about how she was going to like him, but when she got home yesterday she said he is the best teacher ever. She got alot of funny comments from the staff there with her shirt SHE chose to buy and wear yesterday.

Rachel is in the first grade this year, and has Matthew's first grade teacher. She is really nice. Collin was sooooo excited to see them, I think he missed them while they were gone all day. I packed both girls lunches with surprises and a surprise note from mama to tell them I was going to miss them like crazy! Rachel told me that she wants to buy for a while, I thought she did not like her lunch but she is very excited that she gets to make her own choices now at school without mom. They are both growing up so fast. Makes me sad :(

Always smiling!

35 weeks

We are in the home stretch and I can feel it. I just can't wait to NOT be pregnant, I feel like I have been pregnant for about 2 years. Oh yeah I guess I have. We just can't wait to see this little man! I really hope that he charms me just as well as Collin has. And I hope that he sleeps a little better than Collin did too!

Riding in style

So this is Collin's new comfy car seat. He is passing on his infant car seat to his baby brother. I really do not think that he minds at all. He loves being tall enough to see out his window.

Watch out he bites!

I made a bib for Collin to take to the hospital when his little brother is born that says "I am the big brother". I also made these bibs too cause they just seem so appropriate for CBoy. I love how he is showing off his teeth in the second picture. I feel so bad for him. His two bottom teeth came in first, then he had four of them come in at once up top, and now another one is working it's way in on the bottom. Poor baby. No wonder why he bites everything he can.

Pure BOY

This is Collin's favorite toy. He loves to push the bus all over the kitchen floor and crash it into things back and forth.

Play Ball

Rachel played TBall this summer. She loved it. She wants to play again next summer. She also did gymnastics this summer and loved that too. I think that she just might head back into dance this fall, and I am considering putting this little "ham" into some acting classes (advise from Aunt Ang).
