Best Buddies

Collin is trying to talk to Ryan but I just do not think he understands. It was soooo cute. They laid here together for about 30 minutes. I am sure they are just thinking about all the trouble they are going to get into together.

Too much warm milk

The blizzard of 2009

Too bad we can't play in it. We all have bad horrible colds around here. When one gets sick it seems like it goes through our house like fire. It started with Rachel I think and she is a bit better so she might get to go out for a little while.

Rachel's seventh birthday

Rachel had her 7th birthday last week. In the video below is her best friend Maya. The girls have been together since they were 6 weeks old. They started at the same daycare. Maya is just part of the family. Rachel chose to go to dinner at Applebees to celebrate her birthday. As you can see we had a fun time, although I do not recommend going there with a large party cause there is not much room.

She is half way through first grade. She has a nice school and a great teacher. She is so smart. Rachel has picked up on her reading very quickly and brings home books on American History all the time. I swear this girl is going to be a politician someday. I went and had lunch with her on her birthday. It was kind of cute to see how things go in first grade cause I have totally forgot what it was like back then :).

She is still into all the princess stuff and dress up clothes. She is taking a tap dance glass and a gymnastics class and she will be trying out a cheerleading camp in March.

Saying goodbye to 2008

For New Years, we ended up staying home and playing our favorite game Tripoly. We did stay up to see the ball drop. I can't believe how fast 2008 went. I am just so greatful for all the things and people in my life. My husband is the greatest husband in the world. All of our children are so fun and I just love all of them so much. I am thankful for all the extended families that we have in our life and all my friends.

As far as things that I would like for this year. Well I would love to get this house in order. More organization. I would love for some of my businesses to take off to make some extra money. I really want for Paul and I to finally take a honeymoon someday. And I would love to just have more time on my hands to play games with the kids. But for the most part I have everything I have ever wanted. Life is great!

Christmas 2008

It has been a while since I have posted! Things have been crazy. We have battled the stomach flu, and I have been working hard on cleaning out this house from Christmas, selling my Avon, getting my name and business cards out there for the wedding invitations I am trying to sell, and trying to lose weight (Paul brought up the exercise bike) and I have been using Sparkpeople.com. Love it! I have been tracking all my calories and so far for my first weigh in I lost 5 pounds. I hope that everyone had a great holiday. I know I got some really neat things this year. I did not take as many pictures as I usually do. We made Christmas cookies. This is an annual event that the kids love to do every year. Although I really think we eat more of the dough than we actually bake.

I can't believe it is already half way into January. Where has the time gone? We are now getting ready for birthdays and selling girl scout cookies.
