Day 2 training
Day 3 training

Our little Goggie is doing very well! I think he is getting used to the noise around here :) The kids can't wait to hold them on their finger and let him on their shoulder too. I read that the budgie needs to create a bond and learn to trust people before becoming trained. He lets me rub his head and pet him now so I think he is getting better.

Budgie

This is our new member of our family. I have been trying to train him, it is harder than I thought it would be, but he is letting me touch his chest now and only bit me once. When I picked him out, the man tried picking up each bird and he was the most relaxed so I thought he would be good with the kids. The other birds bit the man like crazy. He is an older bird out of the bunch, still under a year though so he will be harder to train. Collin has been calling him "goggie" which means doggie to him. So we decided to just name him that. The kids just love him. Right when they come home for school, they have to go see him or when they get up in the morning that is the first thing that they do. Oh and he is totally spoiled. As you can see he has tons and tons of toys!

Ryan is finally starting to sit up alone, and I swear he is ready to start crawling any day.

Happy Easter

We spent Easter with some of our families. And this was the first time that we have had Matthew for Easter. It was great. This is what life is about, family.

Cute Ryan pictures

Ryan's first time in the swing!

I can't believe how big the kids are getting. I just have to tell you how much things have changed for me with the girls. We had so much fun over Spring Break, besides putting my back out for two days. I took them some place fun every day. We hit the Boonshoft, went skating and went to the magic castle. They had a good time. I am sure it was not as fun as going to the beach and spending time with my family, but I guess everything happens for a reason. We went to the park too the one day it was nice out. I have been doing alot of thinking about things when I was younger and what I loved doing. I remember I used to play Rummy with my grandfather out on his back porch, and we would play that the winner was the winner of the street, and the city, the state, and then the universe. I remember riding my bike to the beach and back. Good memories. I just hope that my children get to experience all that stuff. I remember playing with my neighbor boys, kickball and stuff, well the girls are out back today playing kickball with the boys next door. Just the little things in life that counts the most.
Matthew, Nadalie and Rachel have such a blast playing together, I sure wish that I had siblings that close to my age growing up. They are so lucky to have each other.
Collin is saying more words. He even says "love you". He gives us kisses all the time. He is just a sweet kid. But he sure has his other side. I caught him standing on our table. He tries to be very independent, he likes to walk out to the car now holding my hand of course.
Ryan is rolling everywhere, and is gradually learning to sit up. He gets his little bottom up in the air like he is ready to start crawling soon. Oh then the fun will start. Not sure if I am ready to chase around two little ones all over the house.
I love my children so much. I hope that I will always be close to them and be there for them no matter what!
